Welcome, sovereign
One plot. Fifteen more for sale.
Watermelon Sovereign is an incremental management game that runs in a browser tab. You plant, you wait, you harvest, you sell โ and then you start looking for faster ways to do all four.
The core loop
Plantation
Every plot is its own small clock. Click to plant, click again when it is ready, and watch the field fill in tile by tile.
Above and below
Weather & soil
The sky is on a two-minute cycle and crossfades between states, so the field is never quite the same twice. The dirt keeps its own books.
Farm operations
Market
Buy and sell in ones, tens, or as much as you can carry.
Melons
Buy $9 ยท Sell $7
Seeds
Buy $3 ยท Sell $1
The spread is the whole game in miniature: you always buy high and sell low. Levels in Trade squeeze it from both ends, but never all the way shut.
When the fields are quiet
Treasure Hunt
Send the crew away for an hour or for half a day. Longer trips roll more rewards, and Knowledge improves the final haul.
While the crew is away, every plot you harvest gives the bare minimum. Send them out when the farm has little to offer โ not when it is about to pay.
Competitive agriculture
Sabotage
Why outgrow the competition when you can quietly make their evening much worse? Pick a target, hire goons, and hope.
A failed raid still costs you the money you spent on goons.
Long-term growth
Skills
Six skills, each from level 1 to 20. One attribute point per level, and any point you are short of costs $1,000.
Knowledge
+5% per level on everything the crew drags home.
Plant growth
Cheaper sowing and faster growth, down to a 30-second floor.
Cultivation
+10% per level on both melons and seeds.
Trade
Narrows the spread from both sides at once.
Soil care
Tired soil recovers more of its strength.
Sabotage
Cheaper goons, better odds, bigger hauls.
Every harvest, sale, hunt, raid and purchase is written to a running log, so you can always see what the farm has been up to โ including the raids that went badly.
